Blackforest Wild Whisky

The Sherry Cask is a fruity flatterer, incredibly mild and soft.
This single malt whisky is distilled from lautered mash and after double distillation in our handcrafted whisky distillery, it goes into three different casks for 8 years.
Particularly characteristic stands out the Pedro Ximinéz sherry cask and shows an intense sweetness and aroma. The barrels are imported directly from Jerez de la Frontera and only a few days after emptying filled again with our Blackforest Wild Whisky. This gives it its special nuances.
This special whiskey has won many awards and in 2019 was named the best whiskey in Germany (ISW).

Sensors
Aroma: salty, light iodine aromas, subtle peat notes, nuances of smoke and seaweed, slightly fruity.
Taste: very soft, strong body, lots of character, light sweetness, lots of caramel, nutty.
Finish: long smoky aftertaste, lots of body and a massive finish without losing finesse.

Content
For this premium whisky we use domestic summer barley dried under peat fire.
The Peated Single Malt is the strong brother of the Sherry Cask and shows a smoky and rough side without being too strong.
After a quick fermentation, the mash is distilled directly without lautering. This means that the solid components of the barley are not sieved but distilled. This gives the whiskey corners and edges and achieves its particularly wild character. After the double distillation in our handmade whiskey distillery, it comes for 6 years in three different barrels, which make it milder, but its untamed character remains.
